AIBI and Chamber of Deputies: Alliance for the future of Dominican baseball

Santo Domingo. The Independent Baseball International Association (IBIA) held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco. The main objective of this meeting was to coordinate crucial aspects related to baseball, the development of young Dominican prospects, and their future projection.

Collaboration for Dominican Baseball

During the conversation, ideas were discussed to optimize the legislative system and explore possible improvements. The AIBI requested that Deputy Pacheco hold public hearings.

…with the purpose of contributing their “two cents” to any bill that has to do with or includes baseball, talent development, athlete training, as one of its topics.

The AIBI delegation was led by Javier Rodríguez, president, along with Jonathan Peralta, secretary and legal director; Eddy Polanco, treasurer; Abner Penn, Angelo Ramos, Alfredo Arias, José Serra and Pedro Manzueta, members of the national executive board. The Speaker of the House, Alfredo Pacheco, was accompanied by the deputies Sammy Colón, Miguel Arredondo, among others.
