Micheli Stadium. The timely offense of Cristhian Adames and Ángel Genao, combined with a solid performance from the mound, was key to the Aguilucho triumph. After allowing a run in the first inning, the Águilas’ pitching staff held firm, preventing the Toros from scoring again. Adames drove in the team’s first run in the first inning, while Genao secured the definitive lead with an important hit in the seventh inning. Jeurys Familia closed out the game, earning his first save of the Round Robin despite facing a bases-loaded, two-out situation. With this victory, the Eagles improve their record to 6-5, getting within one game of the Bulls, who now have a 7-4 record, and two games of the Leones del Escogido, leaders with 8-3, at a crucial moment in the season. Roddery Muñoz obtained the victory (1-0) after pitching an inning without allowing runs, while Yaramil Hiraldo took the loss (1-1).
