Philadelphia Prepares for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game

Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Philadelphia Phillies unveiled the official logo for the 2026 All-Star Game this Friday, an event sponsored by Mastercard that will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Citizens Bank Park. This meeting is part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States, marking a milestone in the country’s history. This will be the 96th Midseason Classic, and the fifth time Philadelphia hosts the All-Star Game. However, it will be the first time the event is held at Citizens Bank Park, which opened in 2004. Previously, the city hosted editions at Shibe Park (1943 and 1952) and Veterans Stadium (1976 and 1996), with the 1976 edition being part of the national bicentennial.

A Logo with History and Modernity

The official logo combines historical and modern elements. The Liberty Bell, an emblematic symbol of Philadelphia and the nation, occupies the center of the design. Inspired by the bell’s original inscriptions and with visual details that reflect the Phillies’ style, the logo celebrates baseball’s role in American culture over time.

Major League Baseball is thrilled that Philadelphia will be the host city for the 2026 All-Star Game and that the national pastime will play a role in recognizing a pivotal year in our nation’s history.
