Tragic discovery: Missing young man found dead in Barahona

After an intense three-day search, authorities confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of Manuel Santana Feliz, a 24-year-old young man who had been reported missing in the province of Barahona. The event has caused consternation in the community of Los Callejones, the sector where the victim resided, who was affectionately known as “Manen Felicia”.

Search operation details

The body was located this Thursday, around 2:00 in the afternoon, in a rural area of difficult access known as La Lomita. The exact point of the discovery is located about nine kilometers southeast of the mountainous area of the municipal district of El Cachón.

Due to the time elapsed since their disappearance, the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition, which complicated the initial identification efforts at the scene.

The competent authorities arrived at the scene to remove the body and begin the relevant investigations to clarify this unfortunate event.
