Woman found lifeless in Uvero Alto coastal area identified

Authorities in the province of La Altagracia have confirmed the identity of the woman whose body was found lifeless in the vicinity of a beach near the Grand Sirenis hotel, in the Uvero Alto area. The victim was identified as Yosaira Virginia Cabrera Rosario, 44 years of age.

The discovery took place during the early morning hours, specifically around 7:30 a.m. After receiving the report, an operation was activated that included the presence of the medical examiner, agents of the National Police, members of the Tourist Police (Politur), and representatives of the Public Ministry, who proceeded with the removal of the body to begin the necessary investigations.

Ongoing research

Although the exact circumstances surrounding the death of Cabrera Rosario have not yet been clarified, the authorities are maintaining various lines of investigation. Preliminarily, the hypothesis is being handled that the event could have been linked to an incident that occurred at sea; however, it is expected that the forensic analyses carried out by the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) will shed light on the real cause of death.

The case remains under a rigorous investigation process by the Central Directorate of Investigation (Dicrim) and the Public Ministry, with the objective of precisely determining the facts that led to the unfortunate death.

The community and the authorities remain awaiting the official autopsy results to provide a conclusive report on this event that has shocked the tourist area of Uvero Alto.
