The Union of Medium and Small Flour Industrialists (UMPIH) has expressed its support for the government’s strategy of acquiring “teleras” (traditional Christmas bread) for food assistance programs during the holiday season. This effort, coordinated through the Economic Kitchens, has become a fundamental pillar to ensure that traditional dishes of the season reach the most needy Dominican households.
Under the current administration of President Luis Abinader and the leadership of Edgar Augusto Féliz Arbona, this initiative has maintained consistent execution over the last five years, prioritizing strategic planning for social welfare.
