According to reports from Alofoke Deportes, this atmospheric phenomenon has forced authorities to issue preventive alerts in provinces such as Monte Plata, Azua, San Juan, and Barahona.

Precipitation is expected to persist for the remainder of the day, extending into the early hours of Tuesday night. From that point on, a gradual improvement in atmospheric conditions is expected. By early Wednesday morning, meteorological models indicate light rainfall, mainly along the Caribbean coastline and Greater Santo Domingo.
The trend for Wednesday is towards a decrease in rainy activity, thanks to the arrival of an air mass with lower moisture content. However, isolated showers cannot be ruled out in the Central mountain range and points in the northwest during the afternoon.
