Tragedy in Sosúa: Young person loses their life after falling from a tree
A regrettable accident that occurred in the La Grúa area, located in the municipality of Sosúa, Puerto Plata province, claimed the life of a 35-year-old man this Wednesday afternoon. The victim, identified as Emilio José Valerio de la Rosa, known in the area as “El Jorobado,” passed away after suffering a fall from a height while performing fruit harvesting work.
According to reports gathered by the Alofoke Deportes team, Valerio de la Rosa was at the top of a breadfruit tree, popularly known as “buen pan,” when he lost his balance, falling to the ground in a fatal manner.
