The family maintains that the young man was savagely beaten on the head with a baseball bat, leaving him in critical health conditions that eventually cost him his life.

Demands to the authorities
Since the case came to public light on August 25, Emmanuel’s relatives have exhausted various avenues, including the Ciudad Nueva Palace of Justice, to denounce the slowness of the process. Among the most serious concerns raised by his relatives, the alleged departure from the country to the United States of one of the main individuals accused of the assault, identified as Lenny Núñez de León, stands out.
The family has formally requested the intervention of the competent authorities, including prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso and President Luis Abinader, so that the crime does not go unpunished. They argue that they have provided compelling evidence and demand answers as to why the alleged perpetrators were not arrested in time.
