SeNaSa launches the Ultra plan to elevate health protection in the Dominican Republic

In the framework of its 24th anniversary, the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) has taken a significant step in its service offering with the presentation of SeNaSa Ultra, a new complementary plan designed to strengthen the medical coverage of its affiliates. This proposal emerges as part of a comprehensive strategy to provide broader health solutions for high-complexity services.

Highlighted benefits and cutting-edge coverage

The new SeNaSa Ultra plan is positioned as a high-end option, standing out for its benefits in specialized treatments and high-cost medical procedures. Among the most relevant features are:

  • Annual coverage of up to RD$4 million for high-cost procedures.
  • Access to cutting-edge technology, including robotic surgery in specific cases.
  • 100% coverage for hospital and outpatient services, with no established limits.
  • Specialized programs and exclusive benefits for neurodevelopmental therapies.

SeNaSa Ultra introduces a flat premium scheme, ensuring that the cost of the plan remains stable regardless of the affiliate’s age, which represents financial relief and greater predictability for Dominican families.

Strengthening the network of plans

In addition to the launch of Ultra, the institution reported that it has carried out a comprehensive update to its existing complementary plans, such as Especial, Avanzado, Máximo, and Premium. These improvements have been aligned with the current provisions of the Health Services Plan (PDSS), ensuring that all affiliates have optimized protection in accordance with the current needs of the health market.

With more than two decades of experience, SeNaSa reaffirms its commitment to remain the leading Health Risk Administrator in the country, focusing its efforts on innovation and effective response to the demands of its users who seek higher levels of protection for their well-being and that of their loved ones.
