Selinée Méndez presents her second legislative accountability report

The deputy for Constituency 1 of the National District, Selinée Méndez, fulfilled her commitment to transparency by presenting her second management report corresponding to the 2025-2026 period. In this exercise, the Fuerza del Pueblo legislator detailed her parliamentary work, her impact on the communities, and the new digital strategies implemented to maintain a close bond with the citizenry.

Legislative work and social commitment

During this second year of administration, Méndez has maintained an active legislative agenda, achieving the presentation of 37 initiatives including bills and resolutions. His work has focused on fundamental pillars for national development, covering critical areas such as:

  • Comprehensive protection of women, children, and adolescents.
  • Promotion of mental health and quality education.
  • Preservation of the environment and well-being of the elderly.
  • Citizen security, modernization of the State, and defense of citizens’ rights.

The legislator has prioritized efficiency in the education system, promoting a key proposal that seeks to guarantee the automatic and continuous enrollment of students, requiring the Ministry of Education to ensure the availability of spots in schools.

Close communication and community management

Beyond her work in the National Congress, Méndez has integrated an agenda of direct social support in the sectors she represents. With the goal of making her management more understandable and accessible, the congresswoman introduced an innovative audiovisual proposal, designed to inform the population about the progress and results of her parliamentary work in a transparent and dynamic way.

It is worth remembering that Selinée Méndez was elected in 2024 to represent Constituency 1 of the National District, consolidating her commitment to her constituents for the constitutional period that ends in 2028.
