Samaná receives thousands of school kits for the start of the 2026-2027 school year
The Samaná Educational District 14-04 has received a significant batch of school kits, which will be distributed among students in the local public system. This initiative has the fundamental objective of ensuring that children and adolescents have the necessary resources to carry out their academic activities under optimal conditions from the first day of school.
The logistics of this delivery were organized by the National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE), under the supervision of its provincial director, José Manuel Calcaño, in a joint effort with the management of the aforementioned School District.
Distribution details
- A total of 13,989 school kits will be delivered to educational centers in the main municipality of Samaná.
- Each package includes complete uniforms and footwear for the students.
- The materials have already been delivered to the school principals for prompt distribution to the families.
The arrival of these supplies represents a significant relief for household economies and ensures that every student begins their academic training with the necessary tools for their comprehensive development.
