Ramón Tolentino moves to Cotuí to delve deeper into the José Antonio García Ramírez case
Journalist Ramón Tolentino traveled this Thursday to the municipality of Cotuí, in the Sánchez Ramírez province, with the aim of conducting an exhaustive journalistic survey on the judicial process involving José Antonio García Ramírez, popularly known as “Corpo”.
During his tour, the communicator emphasized that his informative work seeks to listen firsthand to all parties involved. On his agenda, Tolentino plans to visit the Sánchez Ramírez Prosecutor’s Office to obtain statements from both the Public Ministry and the family of the accusing party and the legal defense of García Ramírez.

Case background
The journalist explained that his presence in the area is in response to numerous requests from residents, who have shown interest in knowing the details and the current status of the process. According to the data presented by Tolentino, the origin of this legal situation dates back to December 2020.
At that time, the Public Prosecutor’s Office initiated a formal investigation after receiving a complaint against García Ramírez, who was accused of alleged assault and sexual abuse against his niece, who was a minor at the time of the events.
