Rafael Barias Club dominates Bameso and climbs positions in the 2026 TBS District
In a day filled with intensity at the Arena BanReservas of the Palacio de los Deportes Virgilio Travieso Soto, the Rafael Barias Club imposed itself with authority against Bameso with a final score of 80-66. This victory allows the squad led by José “Pancho” Fortuna to even their record at 2-2, consolidating their second-place position in Group A during the intergroup phase of the 50th Superior Basketball Tournament of the National District.
A lethal offensive attack
The Barian victory was possible thanks to a balanced and efficient offense. American reinforcement Marquis Wright led the attack with 20 points, followed closely by JD Miller, who contributed 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. For his part, native player Bryan Ramírez was a key piece in the offensive scheme by recording 17 points, four rebounds, and six assists, while Eusebio Suero added 13 units to the winning cause.
The collective performance and responsiveness during the critical moments of the match defined the course of the game in favor of Barias, which seeks to remain firm in the fight for the lead of its group.
