Los Toros del Este begin their path toward the 2026-27 season

The Toros del Este organization has made official the start of its preseason training, marking the beginning of a new hope for the fans in La Romana. The bull squad will meet at the Francisco Micheli Stadium next Monday, September 21, starting at 9:00 in the morning, to begin preparation work for the 2026-27 campaign of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).

The call to training camp was made by the team’s general manager, Jesús Mejía, who will lead the reception of the players alongside manager Víctor Estévez, who is in charge of leading the team’s strategy and development on the field.

A technical staff renewed and ready for the challenge

The call is open to both position players and pitchers, including new talents who will join the bull ranks following the LIDOM Rookie Draft, an event scheduled to be held on September 9th. Manager Víctor Estévez will have the support of a specialized coaching staff, highlighting the presence of Jordan Norberto in the pitching area and Ray Willy Gómez leading the batting.

Early preparation is the key to establishing our identity from the first day of competition and ensuring that every player arrives in optimal condition for the start of the tournament.
