National Police activate search for “Chicholo” for assault in Yamasá
The National Police, through its investigative division (DICRIM) in Santo Domingo Norte, has deployed an operation to locate Jonathan Figuereo de los Santos, known in criminal circles as “Chicholo.” The individual is wanted for his alleged responsibility in a violent attack perpetrated against a mother and her son.
The event took place on August 23, 2023, at kilometer 35 in the municipality of Yamasá, Monte Plata province. According to reports from the authorities, the victims, identified as Sabina Muñoz Figueroa and Daríel Ramírez Muñoz, suffered multiple stab wounds during the incident.
Search and call for surrender efforts
Since the occurrence of the events, security agencies have maintained active intelligence and tracking efforts to locate Figuereo de los Santos. The main objective of law enforcement is to capture him so that he can answer to justice for the serious accusations against him.
In this sense, the law enforcement institution has issued a formal call for the fugitive to surrender through the means they consider most appropriate, thus avoiding a greater confrontation and allowing the judicial process to follow its legal course.
The National Police urges Jonathan Figuereo de los Santos, alias “Chicholo”, to present himself before the competent authorities to answer for the violent acts that occurred in the province of Monte Plata.
