National Police activates search for 19 fugitives in the Northeast region for various crimes

The Northeast Regional Directorate of the National Police, through the efforts of the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), has intensified an operation to locate 19 individuals who have pending judicial warrants. These subjects are accused of their alleged participation in violent crimes, armed robberies, drug trafficking, and other illicit acts that affect public safety.

Most wanted for homicides

Among the individuals most wanted for homicide cases, the authorities have identified the following:

  • Isaías Gutiérrez Núñez, linked to the Antonio Duarte Paulino case.
  • Elvin Castro Santos and Víctor Francisco de Castro Santos, involved in the death of José Luis García, known as El Pelotero, in the municipality of Pimentel.
  • Wandys Alcibíades López Jiménez, who has an international arrest warrant.
  • Henry Antonio Peralta Brito, who has a pending 20-year prison sentence.
  • Juan José de Vargas Javier, alias El Santiaguero, related to an event where three people lost their lives in the San Martín sector, in San Francisco de Macorís.
  • Willy Alberto Agramonte Sánchez (El Pollo), Juan Ariel Alejo Francisco, Rafael Prego (Yeyo), Ana Tahiri Acevedo Brito, and Ángel Rafael García Francisco.

Others wanted for property crimes and assaults

The list of individuals under investigation also includes those linked to attempted homicide, such as Adonis Rafael Reyes Fabián and Claribel Reynoso María (Clary), the latter being pointed out for a stabbing assault in Villa Riva. On the other hand, for crimes of aggravated robbery and vehicle theft, the authorities are looking for:

  • Yanuel de la Cruz Duarte (Ñeco), for aggravated robbery with a firearm.
  • Pedro Luis de la Rosa Sosa, for armed robbery.
  • Miguel Oreste Sánchez Hidalgo, wanted for vehicle theft.
  • Pascual García, identified for the theft of a truck with merchandise.

Likewise, the list includes Juan Bautista Mercedes Ortega (Juan), who faces charges for both homicide and attempted homicide, and Víctor Alfonso Arazena (Topito), wanted for controlled substance trafficking.

We urge all required citizens to voluntarily present themselves before the authorities together with their legal representatives to face the charges brought against them, always guaranteeing respect for their rights.

The law enforcement institution reiterates its request for community support to expedite the capture of these individuals. Any information regarding the whereabouts of those identified can be provided confidentially through DICRIM, by calling 809-682-2151, extensions 2456, 2435, 2437, and 2441, or by appearing at the nearest police station.
