Details revealed about the armed attack in Boca Chica that left multiple victims
The National Police have provided new details regarding the violent incident that occurred in Boca Chica, which resulted in the death of two people and left five others injured. According to the preliminary investigation, the attack was not primarily aimed at the deceased, but rather at one of the individuals who was wounded during the event.
Diego Pesqueira, spokesperson for the law enforcement institution, reported that preliminary investigations point to old personal feuds as the primary motive behind this criminal act. However, the authorities specified that the Public Prosecutor’s Office continues to work in conjunction to clarify the definitive circumstances of the case.
So far, preliminary reports indicate that the attack was directed at one of the people who were affected, not at the fatalities. It is a matter of old feuds.

Advances in research and the search for those responsible
The investigative process is at an advanced stage. To date, nearly a dozen people have been questioned with the aim of obtaining evidence to identify the occupants of the vehicle from which the shots were fired. Investigative teams are meticulously analyzing security camera footage, both from nearby commercial establishments and from the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security Response System.
Identification of the victims
The attack claimed the lives of Jonathan Villanueva, nicknamed “Cotuí”, 26, and Jesús Alexis Delgado Ortiz, known in the environment as “Diddy Glow”, 31. On the other hand, the list of injured people includes:

Faced with questions about a possible rivalry between criminal gangs operating in the Boca Chica area, Pesqueira preferred not to confirm such a hypothesis. The spokesperson emphasized that the institution is waiting for concrete evidence before issuing any official conclusion.
