Among the most notable arrests is that of Eloy Feliz García, known as “Eloy La Pámpara,” 28 years old. This individual is identified by the authorities as an alleged accomplice in the murder of Haitian citizen Peterson Dilat, 32 years old. The National Police maintains an active search to locate Junior Antonio Montero, alias “Pochongo,” who is accused of being the material author of the crime.

Likewise, José Antonio Batista Méndez, alias “Mocho”, 36, was captured, who faces accusations of having caused a gunshot wound to the right arm of a 19-year-old during an altercation.

The 10 detainees have been placed under the control of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to answer to the charges brought against them, while intelligence efforts continue to locate other individuals involved who remain at large.

Blow to micro-trafficking and asset recovery

In a joint effort with the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), law enforcement forces managed to dismantle prohibited substance sales points. During these interventions, Luis Sánchez (“Papito”), Alexander Mesa Mateo, and Adrián Israel Matos Duarte (“Pirulo”) were arrested in flagrante delicto.

  • Seized substances: Portions of alleged cocaine and marijuana were seized, which were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for standard analysis.
