“State Shield” Operation: 163 minors rescued in Florida against child exploitation
In a forceful action against criminality, Florida authorities managed to rescue 163 minors who had been reported missing or were in high-risk situations involving trafficking, abuse, and exploitation networks. The intervention, dubbed “State Shield,” spanned five intense days of investigative and operational work.
The deployment’s primary objective was the location and protection of children and adolescents ranging in age from two months to 17 years old. According to official reports, the success of this mission not only allowed for the safeguarding of the victims but also resulted in the capture of three individuals suspected of participating in these illicit activities.

The impact of operation “State Shield” transcended the borders of Florida, consolidating itself as a large-scale coordinated effort. The rescue actions were executed simultaneously in various jurisdictions of the United States, covering states such as:
