Ney Arias Lora Hospital celebrates 16 years of commitment to Dominican health
The Dr. Ney Arias Lora Trauma Hospital celebrated its sixteenth anniversary with a solemn floral offering at the Altar of the Fatherland. This symbolic act paid tribute to the founding fathers of the nation and served as a setting to reaffirm the health center’s commitment to excellence in medical care and the well-being of the population.
The delegation was led by the hospital director, Dr. Víctor Rosario Suazo, who highlighted the importance of honoring Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, and Matías Ramón Mella as a source of inspiration for medical professionals in their daily work.
Today we come here to pay tribute and honor to the founding fathers in the place where we all feel motivated to fulfill our duty, both as citizens and also as doctors and an important part of society.

Strategically located in Santo Domingo Norte, the Dr. Ney Arias Lora Traumatological Teaching University Hospital has established itself as a fundamental pillar of the Public Health Service Provision Network. Since its inauguration in 2010, the center has evolved to become a national benchmark in critical areas such as:

With an infrastructure that includes 177 hospital beds and intensive care units, the hospital maintains a constant flow of medical care. Recent statistics reflect a significant impact on the healthcare system, reaching figures exceeding 1.3 million annual medical services, including thousands of surgeries, imaging studies, and laboratory tests.
