Dominican Foreign Ministry provides assistance to citizens in Colombia following strong earthquake
In light of the recent earthquake recorded this Monday in the vicinity of San José del Palmar, in the department of Chocó, Colombia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) of the Dominican Republic has activated immediate assistance protocols to protect its citizens who are in Colombian territory.
The institution called on all Dominicans residing or in transit in the South American country to maintain contact with consular and diplomatic authorities in the event of any emergency derived from the seismic movement, which has generated concern due to the damage reported in various areas of western Colombia.
