Milton Morrison resumes political activism and bets on the growth of País Posible
After concluding his tenure at the head of the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant), Milton Morrison has confirmed his immediate return to political activities. The leader seeks to strengthen and consolidate País Posible, the organization he founded before his time in public administration, with the goal of positioning it as a benchmark on the national political stage.
During a meeting with the media at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino, Morrison emphasized that his foray into politics has always been motivated by a genuine desire to contribute to the country’s development, beyond the pursuit of public office. The leader recalled his previous career as executive vice president of the Dominican Association of the Electric Industry (ADIE) and his business background, highlighting that he left his professional stability to build a project from the ground up.
I left my comfort zone, my peace of mind, and my stability to found a political party from scratch, without godfathers, without electoral machines, without a single peso from the State, and going house by house.

An open-door organization
Morrison announced that his work agenda will begin immediately with tours of various municipalities in the country to reconnect with the membership and listen to the concerns of their local structures. In this new stage, the party seeks to integrate new sectors of society under an inclusive vision:
- Young people and women with a vocation for service.
- Professionals and entrepreneurs.
- Community leaders and workers.
- Dominicans abroad.
- Citizens who have never been involved in politics.
The leader of País Posible emphasized that the political origin of the new members will not be an obstacle, focusing on a common goal for the well-being of the Dominican Republic.
International projection
Beyond the local sphere, Morrison highlighted the organization’s progress on the international stage. País Posible is part of the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL), where the leader holds the vice presidency. Likewise, he announced that he will represent this entity in a business council that seeks to strengthen economic and investment ties between Asia and Latin America, with an upcoming participation in a high-level international summit.
Upon concluding his speech, the leader reaffirmed that the party is in a stage of maturity. “We are not here to look back, we are here to look forward. Today we begin to walk the path again, but no longer from scratch,” he pointed out, making it clear that his focus is on the future and direct contact with the citizenry.
