Amusement park closed in Hato Mayor after serious child accident
The authorities of Hato Mayor have ordered the immediate closure and dismantling of the amusement park located on Padre Meriño Street. This decision comes as a direct response to the unfortunate accident that occurred on the night of last Friday, September 18, where three minors were injured.
The incident took place at the attraction popularly known as “La Estrellita” (The Little Star). According to preliminary reports, one of the ride’s seats detached while it was in full motion, causing the girls to fall from the structure.
The health status of one of the minors is delicate, after suffering a skull fracture that keeps the doctors under a reserved prognosis.
