Magda Canalda assumes the presidency of Firetech on its 25th anniversary
In a strategic move that marks a new stage, Firetech has announced the appointment of Magda Canalda as its new president. This change of leadership coincides with the celebration of the company’s 25-year history, a leader in the Dominican market for fire protection systems.
Canalda, who has been part of the organization for 14 years, has demonstrated exceptional leadership ability through various management positions. Her deep knowledge of the organizational culture and her commitment to operational excellence were the fundamental pillars for the company to entrust her with this responsibility.

Strategic transition and future vision
With this appointment, Magda Canalda becomes the first executive to lead the presidency after the firm’s founder, Juan Carlos Guilbe. For his part, Guilbe will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, thus ensuring the continuity of the strategic vision and support for the company’s long-term growth.
