Karol G leads relief efforts after earthquake in Colombia with a millionaire donation
Colombian superstar Karol G has once again demonstrated her social commitment by joining relief initiatives for the communities affected by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that shook Colombia on August 10th. The Medellin performer was one of the main figures at the charity concert “Colombia: Voices for Life,” held at the Vive Claro Cultural District in Bogota.
During the broadcast of the event, which featured the participation of more than 30 international artists, it was revealed that the Con Cora Foundation, led by the singer, made a contribution of 1.2 million dollars. This gesture was fundamental in reaching the total amount raised of approximately 3.6 million dollars, funds destined for the reconstruction of the affected areas and direct support for the affected families.
An event of unity and solidarity
The concert, which brought together diverse voices of Latin music, featured outstanding performances by artists such as Maluma, Eladio Carrión, Greeicy, Draco Rosa, and Sebastián Yatra. For her part, Karol G participated remotely from California, offering an emotional livestream where she performed songs such as “Coleccionando heridas” and “Milagros”.
