Voices for life: Artists unite in Bogotá for earthquake victims
The music industry has responded with solidarity to the emergency caused by the recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia. With the goal of raising funds for reconstruction and supporting families who lost their homes, a group of prominent national and international artists will offer a benefit concert titled Voces por la vida (Voices for Life), which will take place on August 23rd at the Vive Claro venue, located in Bogotá.
The event, which is shaping up to be one of the largest displays of support in the country, will feature the participation of renowned figures such as Miguel Bosé, Sebastián Yatra, Draco Rosa, Silvestre Dangond, and Grupo Niche. Everyone involved has decided to collaborate without charging fees, putting their talent and resources at the service of this humanitarian cause.
A cast of committed stars
The list of confirmed artists is extensive and diverse, seeking to bring together different musical genres under the same purpose. Among the artists who will take the stage are:

The participation of Colombian superstar Karol G stands out, as she will join the event via a livestream. Her intervention will be carried out in collaboration with her Con Cora Foundation, an entity focused on the empowerment of women and communities in vulnerable situations.
The music industry in Colombia decided to unite behind a single purpose: to donate their work to help in the reconstruction of the most affected areas and contribute so that families who lost their homes can have a roof again and begin to rebuild their lives.

How to participate and support the cause
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Presentes Corporación, an organization leading reconstruction efforts in the areas hardest hit by the earthquake, which has left a tragic toll of more than two hundred dead so far.
Access to the show Colombia: Voices for Life will be enabled through donations starting from 100,000 Colombian pesos, approximately 32 dollars. This initiative stands out for the union of promoters, technicians, brands, and artists, who work together to ensure that the greatest amount of resources reaches those who need it most during this moment of national crisis.
