Alleged suspect in attempted homicide captured in Santiago

Agents of the National Police, assigned to the Division of Investigations of Crimes and Offenses Against Persons, managed to capture 30-year-old Auriudi Domínguez Inoa, who was actively sought for his alleged participation in an armed attack that occurred on April 19 in the Los Cocos sector, belonging to the municipal district of San Francisco de Jacagua, in Santiago.

The detainee, known in criminal circles as “Auriudi”, had an active arrest warrant under number 2026-AJ0043550-001, issued due to his direct involvement in an attempted homicide against José Augusto Gómez Rodríguez, 31 years old.

Event details

According to preliminary investigations by Alofoke Deportes, the incident originated when the victim was traveling on a motorcycle along the main street of the aforementioned community. According to reports, the assailants intercepted Gómez Rodríguez while they were traveling on two different motorcycles. After a brief verbal exchange, one of the individuals fired a firearm, causing the wounds the victim suffered.

The law enforcement institution maintains an active search for the other individuals involved, while Domínguez Inoa will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to face the corresponding legal charges.

Search for the others involved

The authorities have identified three other men linked to the incident, who remain at large and for whom arrest warrants have been issued. Those being sought are:

  • Brayan, known as “Barba” and/or “Boso”.
  • Jobanny Acevedo, alias “El Ganter”.
  • An individual identified only as “El Dientu”.

The National Police continues to deepen its investigations to clarify the exact circumstances of the attack and determine the degree of responsibility of each of those involved in this event that has shocked the residents of San Francisco de Jacagua.
