Government intensifies development agenda and works supervision in Santiago
The governor of Santiago, Rosa Santos, reported that the central government has intensified its presence and work agenda in the province. This day, led by President Luis Abinader, has the main objective of supervising the progress of strategic projects and directly addressing the most pressing needs of local communities.
According to the official, the constant supervision by national authorities in the area demonstrates the president’s commitment to regional progress. Among the key projects under presidential scrutiny are the expansion of the Cibao International Airport and the sanitary sewer works in the municipality of Licey, including the technical evaluation of its treatment plant.
