Fernando Pinales assumes second term at the helm of CODOPYME with a focus on business development
Fernando Pinales has been ratified as president of the Dominican Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CODOPYME), marking the beginning of an administration focused on strengthening the sector, creating formal jobs, and optimizing the participation of these companies in public procurement. The swearing-in ceremony was supported by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, along with prominent figures from the public and private sectors.
Strategic priorities for the MSME sector
During his speech, Pinales emphasized that his administration will work hard to ensure that the Law on Public Procurement and Contracting is effectively complied with. The goal is for the quotas allocated to MSMEs and women-led enterprises to become tangible opportunities that stimulate the national economy.
