Faith Impact Foundation boosts the educational future of 800 children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti
With the firm purpose of ensuring that education is an accessible reality for everyone, the Faith Impact Foundation organization successfully carried out its 2026-2027 back-to-school day. This noble initiative managed to benefit approximately 800 children and adolescents in various vulnerable communities, both in Dominican territory and in Haiti, providing them with the essential tools to start their school year with enthusiasm.
The deployment of aid reached strategic locations such as Las Taranas, Sabana Grande de Boyá, La Ceiba, La Victoria, Cotuí, Jarabacoa, and Sabana Perdida. In addition to the delivery of backpacks and school supplies, the children received basic medicine kits, including dewormers, cold medicine, acetaminophen, and antihistamines, thus contributing to their overall well-being.
A legacy of solidarity born from personal experience
This project, which today impacts hundreds of families, had its humble beginnings eight years ago in a small carport in the El Majagual sector, in Sabana Perdida. Its founder, Moisés Cabral, remembers with nostalgia the difficulties he faced during his childhood, when obtaining school supplies was a constant challenge for his family.
I grew up in a home where my father had seven children and we were always among the last to get our school supplies. When someone helped us, it was a real refreshment for us. I understood that I also had to be that person who one day helped another child return to class.

Volunteering and international commitment
The success of this day was possible thanks to the effort of more than 30 volunteers, among whom local collaborators and international delegates from Colombia and Pennsylvania stood out. The logistics were supported by ACES North America and the Centro con Propósito Church of Connecticut, along with a network of friends and ministerial colleagues who joined the cause.
