Euro to Dominican Peso exchange rate update: August 25
The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic has released the reference prices for the euro for this Tuesday, August 25. The performance of the European currency against the Dominican peso shows adjusted variations in both the formal financial system and the remittance sector.

In the financial entities market, the euro is trading with a purchase rate of RD$65.78, while the selling rate is at RD$70.18. When comparing these figures with the values recorded the previous week, when the purchase was at RD$65.64 and the sale at RD$69.93, the Dominican peso has experienced a downward adjustment. Specifically, a depreciation of -0.22% is observed in the purchase rate and -0.37% in the selling rate.
Dynamics in remittance and exchange agents
On the other hand, the remittance and exchange agent sector shows a differentiated behavior. During this day, the purchase rate was set at RD$67.10 and the sale rate at RD$68.89. This sector reflects a different trend compared to last week, where the purchase was quoted at RD$67.04 and the sale at RD$69.06.
