Content creator arrested in Egypt for videos considered indecent
Egyptian authorities have proceeded with the arrest of a digital content creator after she was accused of posting videos on her social platforms where she appeared dancing in clothing described as indecent. According to the official report from Egypt’s Ministry of Interior, these types of posts violate the social values established in the country.
The investigation was led by the General Directorate for the Protection of Public Morals. After conducting the relevant inquiries, the agents located the woman in the jurisdiction of the Talja Police Station, located in the Daqahliya province, north of Cairo, where her capture was carried out.
