The province of María Trinidad Sánchez has consolidated an exceptional performance in the national signature collection process led by the Dominicanos Primero movement. With a 195% compliance rate, the demarcation positions itself as one of the regions with the greatest citizen support in the country, far exceeding initial expectations.
According to official figures, the province managed to collect approximately 2,700 signatures, a figure that surpasses the original goal of 1,400 endorsements. This surplus of more than 1,000 signatures reaffirms the commitment of the inhabitants of the northeast area to this political initiative.
A far-reaching national overview
The success of María Trinidad Sánchez is not an isolated case, as the Dominicanos Primero progress map reflects positive results in a large part of the national territory. The province is in a privileged position when compared to other nearby regions that have also exceeded their goals:
- Hermanas Mirabal: 185%
- Samaná: 177%
- Duarte: 141%
With 195% compliance, María Trinidad Sánchez demonstrates the effectiveness of local mobilization and the reach that the movement is achieving at the provincial level.
Nationally, the compliance ranking is led by Monseñor Nouel with a remarkable 256%, followed closely by Santiago with 235% and La Altagracia with 224%. Other provinces that maintain outstanding figures include La Vega (205%), Barahona (190%), El Seibo (188%), and San Pedro de Macorís (184%).
