Jochy Santos returns to the small screen with the Season of Joy
The charismatic communicator Jochy Santos has confirmed his long-awaited return to Dominican television with the program Divertido con Jochy. The production, which will be broadcast on Color Visión, channel 9, will reach homes starting Sunday, October 4, marking the beginning of a special phase that will run until December 27.
The announcement was made by Jochy Santos himself along with the experienced producer Edilenia Tactuk, who detailed that the show will maintain its live format, in the time slot from 12:00 noon to 2:00 in the afternoon, with the latent possibility of adding an additional 30 minutes to the broadcast.
A concept focused on joy
This new installment has been christened The Season of Joy, a concept that seeks to integrate three fundamental pillars of Dominican culture during the last quarter of the year: the return of the program, the fervor for the winter baseball season, and the arrival of the Christmas season.
We want to make a fresh, family-oriented, approachable program, with a lot of rhythm and focused on joy; that is the north star of everything we are going to do.

Regarding the team that will accompany the veteran communicator, Tactuk noted that negotiations with the talent are still ongoing. However, he confirmed that the participation of key figures from previous editions is being evaluated, ensuring that Rosmery Herrand is already confirmed to return for this stage. The program thus reaffirms its commitment to serving as a platform for new generations of Dominican communicators.
This return is particularly significant, as it coincides with the celebration of more than five decades of Jochy Santos’ uninterrupted career in the media, consolidating himself as one of the most beloved and influential figures in national television.
