DGDC provides support to family affected after explosion in Villa Mella
The General Directorate for Community Development (DGDC), under the management of Dr. Carlos Modesto Guzmán, came to the aid of a family residing in Villa Mella that suffered significant material damage following a gas tank explosion in their home.
The institution’s intervention followed the public appeal made by communicators Paloma De La Rosa and Franklin Trinidad, who brought visibility to the precarious situation in which those affected were left after the incident. In immediate response, a DGDC team traveled to the location to deliver aid intended to alleviate the burden on the affected family.
Solidarity and community action
This action highlights the importance of collaboration between state institutions and the media to provide quick solutions in moments of vulnerability. The communicators highlighted the willingness of Dr. Guzmán and his work team to address the request effectively.
When a family loses part of what they have built, any helping hand represents hope. We thank Dr. Carlos Modesto Guzmán and the General Directorate of Community Development for hearing our call and responding with solidarity.
