Claudia Sheinbaum will conclude her national accountability tour on September 27
The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, has confirmed that her national tour, designed to present the progress and results of her administration, will come to an end on September 27 with a massive event in Mexico City. This tour, which has covered much of the national territory during the month of September, seeks to strengthen closeness with the citizenry.
To date, the president has visited 17 federal entities, fulfilling the strategy of taking her government report directly to the regions, breaking with the traditional scheme of holding it only in the capital. During her recent speech at the Malecón Tajamar, in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Sheinbaum stressed that this dynamic allows for a more direct dialogue with the population.
A tour of the national territory
Since the beginning of this deployment on September 1st, the president has visited key states such as Morelos, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Colima, Jalisco, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Campeche, Yucatán, and Quintana Roo.
- The itinerary will continue in Hidalgo this Sunday.
- Activities will extend throughout the remaining weeks of September.
- The symbolic closing will coincide with the commemoration of the Nationalization of the Electric Industry.
The president has emphasized that her administration maintains an unwavering commitment to working hand in hand with citizens, promoting unity between the Government and the Mexican people.
Historical values and government vision
Accompanied by the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama, the president took advantage of the accountability spaces to reflect on the country’s historical pillars. Sheinbaum highlighted fundamental concepts such as sovereignty, independence, freedom, and social justice, elements that, in her view, remain the foundation of current public life in Mexico.
By recalling key passages of national history and the legacy of figures such as Diego Rivera, the Chief Executive reaffirmed that her administration will continue under the principles of austerity and closeness, ensuring that the results of her government are known firsthand by all sectors of Mexican society.
