Santo Domingo Norte Chamber of Commerce recognizes the work of General Miguel Ángel Peña Vásquez

The Chamber of Commerce and Business of Santo Domingo Norte granted a special recognition to General Miguel Ángel Peña Vásquez, regional director of the National Police in this area. The distinction highlights his career, his institutional leadership, and his firm commitment to strengthening citizen security and peaceful coexistence in the municipality.

This tribute seeks to make visible the work of the officials who, through their management, manage to create an environment of trust and stability, essential elements for merchants, entrepreneurs, and investors to carry out their activities with total security.

Security as a development engine

During the event, held at the headquarters of the National Police Regional Directorate, representatives of the business sector emphasized that security is a fundamental pillar for economic progress. A climate of peace and respect for the laws is, in the entity’s view, the ideal scenario for job creation and the constant growth of the community.

From the Chamber, we understand that business development cannot be viewed in isolation from security, institutional stability, and civic coexistence. When authorities, business owners, and communities work in a coordinated manner, we contribute to building a municipality with better conditions for living, producing, investing, and generating opportunities.

Robinson Basden, Executive President of the Santo Domingo Norte Chamber of Commerce and Business.

Cooperation and dialogue strategies

The Chamber of Commerce valued General Peña Vásquez’s willingness to maintain an open and close communication channel with the different sectors of Santo Domingo Norte. Among the highlights of his management are:

For his part, General Peña Vásquez expressed his gratitude for the distinction and extended the merit to all the operational and administrative personnel under his command.
