Bonao will host the 2026 LIBEVE All-Star Game

The National Summer Baseball League (LIBEVE) has confirmed that the Bebecito del Villar Stadium, located in Bonao, will be the official venue for the celebration of its 2026 All-Star Game. The event, which will bring together the best of national talent, is scheduled for next Saturday, September 5th.

The day will begin at 4:00 PM with the highly anticipated Home Run Derby, followed by the matchup between the best players from the North-South and North-Central divisions. The stadium, home of the Mineros de Bonao, is preparing to host this second edition of the event, consolidating the tradition started the previous year in Puerto Plata.

A second year that we are committed to having a great All-Star Game, a way to showcase all our players who have given their all in an incredible season that we have had with eight teams nationwide and which points to being a great spectacle together with the fans of Bonao.

Pitching duel and stellar lineups

For this clash, the league has announced the starting pitchers who will begin the action. For the North-South Division, right-hander Jhon Henríquez will take the mound, while for the North-Central Division, the experienced left-hander Raúl Valdés has been designated to start the game.

The starting lineups feature an outstanding display of talent:

  • North-South Division: Yuli Vitinni (C), Carlos Franco (1B), Michael De León (2B), Omar Meregildo (3B), Alex Reyes (SS), along with outfielders Diego Hernández, Christopher Familia, Brayan González and designated hitter Junior Sanquintín.
  • North-Central Division: Deury Ramos (C), Jhailyn Ortiz (1B), Yeison Coca (2B), Jean Pérez (3B), Armando Cruz (SS), with Alejandro Comperez, Noel Chevalier, Jorge Peralta in the outfield and Tony Peña as designated hitter.

The league’s technical management is working on the final details of this spectacle, which will be broadcast nationally through VTV Channel 32. The event is supported by the Dominican Baseball Federation (FEDOM), the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency, and the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI).
