The Águilas Cibaeñas maintain their absolute focus on the upcoming 2026-2027 season of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). The yellow team continues to strengthen its preseason roster after adding four new members this Tuesday to the practices taking place at Cibao Stadium.
The most notable news of the day was the integration of pitcher Jorge Tavárez, who comes from being awarded Pitcher of the Year in the previous campaign. Along with him, infielders Alfredo Reyes and José Rodríguez reported, as well as minor league reliever Marino Santy, bringing the total number of players actively working under the coaching staff to 39.

The pitching staff of the Cuyayas receives a significant boost with the presence of Tavárez.
