Luis Abinader kicks off the 2026-2027 school year with a call for excellence
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, led the official opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 school year this Monday from Santo Domingo Este. With the slogan “Study, dream, dare; recess is over and everyone to the classrooms,” the president urged the student community to see this new cycle as a key platform for the development of their talents and the consolidation of their professional future.
During his speech, the head of state emphasized that the educational environment must be a space of constant curiosity. He encouraged young people to read, participate actively, and, above all, not to fear making mistakes, as these are an essential part of the process of learning and personal discovery.
