Luis Abinader urges PRM leaders in New Jersey to defend administration with data
The President of the Republic and leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Luis Abinader, called on his party’s membership in New Jersey to take up the defense of the achievements reached by his administration, using as a primary basis the statistics and concrete facts that mark the country’s progress in recent years.
During a meeting that brought together more than 400 leaders and supporters, the president emphasized that transparency and the presentation of results are the most effective tools for connecting with the citizenry. According to the head of state, the current administration has managed to resolve in six years challenges that remained stagnant for decades under other administrations.

Innovation and advances in infrastructure and education
Abinader highlighted several fundamental pillars of his government, focused on decentralizing services and knowledge. Among the achievements mentioned, he emphasized the expansion of higher and technical education, key to the development of Dominican youth:
- Construction and remodeling of extensions of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in six provinces.
- Installation of 64 new centers of the National Institute for Technical Professional Training (Infotep).
- Expansion of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), going from having one and a half centers to ten locations nationwide.
- Definitive titling program that has benefited more than 170 thousand families, granting them legal security over their land.
Citizen security and digital transformation
Regarding security, the president highlighted the progress in the National Police reform. He emphasized the significant reduction in the homicide rate, comparing current records with those of 2012. Abinader underscored that, although work continues to further lower crime rates, the data reflect a substantial improvement in citizen coexistence.
In addition, the president announced that the PRM will modernize its communication strategies in overseas branches, prioritizing the use of technological and digital tools to strengthen the bond with Dominicans in the diaspora. With a touch of humor, the president pointed out that the public information currently available is the greatest contrast to past administrations, ensuring that citizens have access to the truth through digital historical records.
The event was attended by prominent party figures and government officials, including Foreign Minister Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, Tony Peña Guaba, and Dominican consuls in various cities on the East Coast of the United States, reaffirming the commitment of the PRM leadership to its community abroad.
