President Abinader supports ban on Haiti’s national team playing in Dominican stadiums
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, expressed this Friday his full support for the measure imposed by the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, which restricts the use of national sports facilities for matches of the Haitian national soccer team.
During a meeting with the press, the head of state was questioned about the recent provision from the Ministry of Sports, which arose following the disturbances and altercations reported during the celebration of the match between the national teams of the Dominican Republic and Haiti, corresponding to the Concacaf Nations League, at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium.
