Luis Abinader receives the president of Honduras on an official visit to the Dominican Republic
The President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, is leading an important work agenda this weekend together with the President of Honduras, Nasry Asfura Zablah. The meeting, scheduled for August 29 and 30, has as its main objective to strengthen the ties of cooperation and bilateral relations between both Central American and Caribbean nations.
Saturday’s agenda: Focus on border security
The Honduran delegation, led by Asfura Zablah, arrived in the country through the Las Américas International Airport. Upon their arrival, the official program included a strategic transfer to the San Isidro Air Base for an inspection of military facilities.
One of the key points of this day was the tour of the border area in Dajabón. At this point, President Abinader presented the Honduran leader with the technical details and security systems implemented in the border wall, highlighting the infrastructure built for the control and surveillance of the border zone.
