Los Alcarrizos celebrates the start of its great 2026 Children’s Summer Camp
With the goal of fostering the integral development and healthy recreation of the little ones, the Municipal City Council of Los Alcarrizos formally kicked off its 2026 Children’s Summer Camp. This important sports and recreational initiative will span three days, bringing together a crowd of more than 2,500 boys and girls from the municipality.
The event is supported by a team of 500 volunteers, who ensure the proper functioning of the various scheduled activities, which include sports disciplines, cultural workshops, recreational dynamics, and educational moments.
Commitment to the future of the municipality
Mayor Junior Santos, who led the opening ceremony, reaffirmed his municipal administration’s vision focused on providing safe spaces for the youth. During his speech, the municipal executive highlighted the value of these sessions for the local community.
This camp is a testament to the commitment we have to our children. Over these three days, we want them to enjoy, learn, share, and develop their talents in a safe environment filled with joy. For us, investing in childhood is investing in the future of Los Alcarrizos.

The inaugural event had the support of local authorities, including Deputy Mayor Felicia Santos, Congressman Aldo Adón, and the City Council members, who highlighted the importance of these actions to strengthen social cohesion and child welfare.
