UFC Confirms Event at the White House for July 4, 2026

The UFC CEO, Dana White, announced that the organization will hold a live event at the White House on July 4, 2026. The news was confirmed via a video posted on social media on Thursday. President Donald Trump was the one who initially suggested the idea of a UFC event in the White House gardens last month, as part of the celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary.

It was a great day. I’m about to take off from Washington, D.C. The event at the White House is confirmed. I’ll have more details in the coming weeks. We did it today.

White, who is a friend of Trump, has largely avoided answering questions about possible fights for the event. Prominent figures in the sport, such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, have publicly expressed their interest in participating. Regarding Jon Jones’ participation, White indicated that the odds are “a billion to one”, due to his recent retirement and his history outside the octagon.
