English golfer Tommy Fleetwood finally tasted victory on the PGA Tour, a long-awaited triumph that came at the Tour Championship held at East Lake Golf Club. After 164 attempts, Fleetwood achieved his first title, surpassing his competitors with a final round of 68 strokes, two under par, for a total of 18 under par. He beat Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay by three strokes. Before this long-awaited victory, Fleetwood had accumulated six second places and a dozen top-three finishes in various circuit tournaments.
