Stacy Lewis Announces Retirement from the LPGA Tour
American golfer Stacy Lewis, a two-time major champion and former world number one, has confirmed that the current season will be her last on the LPGA Tour. The news was shared via a social media post.
Lewis, 40, expressed that his body has indicated that it is time to retire.
I would never have imagined that my golf career would continue until 2025, but the time has come to put away the clubs.

Lewis’s golf career is full of successes.
She debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2009, after a distinguished career at the University of Arkansas. Throughout her career, she achieved 13 victories, including titles at the 2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship and the 2013 Women’s British Open, both considered majors.
Lewis was recognized as the LPGA Tour Player of the Year twice (2012 and 2014) and ranks 14th on the all-time money list, with more than $14 million accumulated in 374 events.
In addition to her individual achievements, Lewis participated in four Solheim Cup teams as a player and then captained the team that defeated Europe in September 2024.
In her farewell message, Lewis expressed her pride in the progress of the LPGA Tour and encouraged her colleagues to continue driving the sport forward.
