Fred Vasseur Asks Lewis Hamilton for Calm After Criticism
Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur has urged Lewis Hamilton to “calm down” after the seven-time world champion criticized his own performance this season.
Hamilton described his first season with Ferrari as the worst of his 19-year career, after the Las Vegas Grand Prix, where he qualified last.
The 40-year-old driver also expressed his wish for the year to end, with two races remaining in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, and added that he is not looking forward to next season either.
I understand Lewis’s reaction right after the race. But he needs to calm down and focus on the next two races.

Hamilton’s difficult debut season with Ferrari hit rock bottom in Las Vegas, when he recorded the slowest time in qualifying.
Despite advancing to tenth position at the end of the race, which later became eighth after the disqualifications of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, he crossed the finish line almost a minute behind the winner Max Verstappen.
Hamilton is 74 points behind his teammate Charles Leclerc in the drivers’ standings and is still waiting for his first podium with Ferrari.
