Bearman Criticizes Tsunoda’s Driving Style at the United States Grand Prix
The young Formula 1 driver, Oliver Bearman, has expressed his dissatisfaction with Yuki Tsunoda’s performance during the United States Grand Prix. Bearman described Tsunoda’s driving as dangerous and a bad example for young aspiring drivers. The controversy arose after Bearman was forced to perform an evasive maneuver to avoid Tsunoda’s Red Bull, who was defending his position mid-race. Tsunoda locked the apex at Turn 15, forcing Bearman off the track and causing him to lose control.Bearman accused Tsunoda of making abrupt movements for several laps and not leaving enough space on the track when he tried to overtake. The Haas driver lamented that this situation could have caused a serious accident. Bearman finished the race in ninth position, while Tsunoda achieved seventh place. Bearman regretted that without the incident, he would have had the possibility of obtaining a better position.I felt that what he did was quite dangerous, against the spirit of how we should race and against the image we should project to the children growing up in karting and those things. This is not how we race.

Tsunoda stated that he did not make any braking moves and that the situation was unfortunate, especially since both drivers were competing intensely. That’s racing, right? I was totally in control, I had no lock-ups and was literally side by side. I’m not his teammate, I’m just fighting to be in the top 10 or more, so yeah, I thought it was okay.
